Why a Share a Ride

The choice to share a ride is totally yours.

In New Zealand if twp people are heading in the same direction it is allowed for them to arrange to share a taxi. So if your standing in a queue waiting for a ride and you see the CabSahre logo, you might want to ask the others if anyone is heading in your direction. This must be agreed to by the two passenger groups. The price is agreed to before the trip and usually save the the passenger considerable money and is always cheaper than travelling in a seperate cab (IE. pay half each, or a set fare each).
